Due to COVID-19 restrictions at this time, we are unable to hold this event for the 2020-2021 school year.
Calling All March for Mars Volunteers!
October 9th: Centennial School (at the MAC)
October 10th: Primary Center (field in front of admin)
October 11th: MAE (Doc’s Way, behind MAE)
The PTO needs lots of volunteers to keep the kids on course, keep their water cups and bottles filled, and to cheer them on as they March for Mars! In addition to volunteers on the day of each school’s “march,” we will need a handful of parents to assist with prize sorting and distribution on Monday, October 7th.

Note: Each school has a separate Sign-Up page. If you have children in more than one school and wish to participate with each child, you will need to use more than one link.

Here’s what you need to do: Collect donations from friends and family to sponsor you for March for Mars. We are asking for a flat donation, not a per-lap donation.
Donations can be collected by: Cash or Check: Checks can be made payable to Mars Elementary PTO
PLEASE RETURN YOUR COLLECTION ENVELOPE EVEN IF YOU COLLECTED ALL OF YOUR PLEDGES ONLINE. ALL COLLECTION ENVELOPES ARE DUE ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th
All students will be eligible to earn the following PRIZES based upon the amount of donations they collect:
All participants will receive the exclusive March for Mars Statement Band
- $10 Exclusive March for Mars drawstring bag
- $30 Congratulations, you have opted out and will help the PTO reach its annual goal.
- $40 Exclusive T-shirt to be worn the day of the event (delivered the week of the event).
- $50 Name entered in a drawing to win an autographed Crosby jersey (and again for each additional $50)
- $75 Mars Water Bottle (delivered mid-October)
- $150 Mars Blanket (delivered mid-October)
- $300 Mars Under Armour Hoodie (delivered mid-October)
We can accept donations after the deadline but CANNOT guarantee the availability of prizes or entry into the drawing (if eligible), so turn in your collection envelope with cash and/or checks NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th.
*There is no rain date should this event be canceled due to inclement weather. All pledges collected will be considered a donation to the Mars Elementary PTO. We will make every effort to work around any adverse weather conditions on the day of the event.
